Bolly Exclusive Ad Works

Engagement steps

What to expect at each stage of the work

Here is the usual order of work for ads, landing pages and tracking, and what you need to have ready at each point.

What happens between yes and launch

After you accept a quote, the work moves through four steps.

  1. Onboarding: the partner sends a short list of what they need, such as brand assets, offers, areas served and who answers inquiries.
  2. Access: you invite the partner to your accounts with the user roles each platform provides.
  3. Build and approval: campaigns, ads, landing pages and tracking are built, and you sign them off.
  4. Launch and check: ads go live, test inquiries confirm tracking works, and spend is watched closely at first.

Information the partner will ask for

Expect questions along these lines.

  • Which channels you want: search, social or both
  • The ad accounts you own, and the email addresses that administer them
  • Landing pages you have now, and whether they can be edited
  • What counts as an inquiry for you: form, call, chat or booked meeting
  • The CRM you use, if any: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or another
  • Brand assets: logo, colors, photos and any approved wording
  • Who on your side approves ads and pages
  • The reporting cadence you want

Offboarding, done cleanly

Plan the exit at the start. Ask the partner to agree in writing that, when the work ends:

  • you remove their user access from each ad, analytics and tag account;
  • campaigns, audiences, conversion actions and history stay in your accounts;
  • landing pages and their source files stay with you or are handed over;
  • any tools they pay for, such as call tracking or a page builder, are listed so you can replace them;
  • a short handover note explains how everything is set up.

Because the accounts were yours from the start, very little has to move.

Staying in control after launch

You keep the final say on budget, offers and wording after campaigns go live. The partner manages the day-to-day detail and reports on it, and you decide what changes. A few habits help. Log in to your ad accounts now and then and compare what you see with the latest report. Keep a shared document of agreed changes. Raise problems with inquiries quickly, such as the wrong locations or the wrong kind of buyer, so targeting can be corrected. If the work stops suiting you, give notice as your agreement says, remove access and keep your accounts as they are.

Not sure where to start? Describe your offer and current tools, and a service partner will ask the right questions.
